OK, I have tried 3 times to upload this image of a new pendant. Its sword-shaped, made from moss agate and a cool little quartz crystal with a green mineral twin inside. Guess you will have to believe me, I still can't get it to post. I will reduce it further and try again later. Sometimes Blogger is just LIKE that!
Nope,no matter,it won'tlet me add the image. Hmmmm.
It reminds me of a pin I made maybe 20 years ago, I kept it pinned to my gray polartek coat. It was all silver, caught into a circle like this one, with a very small dark green tourmaline cab at the pommel. The whole jacket is missing, I either left it somewhere or its fallen behind a pile of something somewhere in my house.
This pendant is a fun one. I thought I should go ahead and have fun with the old sword shapes from a couple decades ago when I made a bunch. Swords, shields, all sorts of graceful shapes.
I will save them for Edmonds next month.
Out here in paradise its a cool comfortable day with yellow scotch bloom blossoms and rhodies everywhere. The dog park was quiet with only Serious and Sparky for Boots to play with, and neither are his favorite friends, so we headed into the woods to escape the scotch broom pollen. Course the cedar wasn't much kinder! I saw lilac, dogwood, redbud, all sorts of color right now. I am looking forward the wild tangles of roses tho, they are my favorite. We have a tree with an aged rose vine grown all the way up into the branches 20 feet above the ground. Its so pretty in June, and so thorny!
Ok no news, nothing interesting. Just filling orders for teeny earrings by the dozen, making a few new things for Edmonds Arts Festival...but today I will dig out my little weed whacker and attack the garden. If it stays dry at least! I have greens waiting to go in the veggie garden. I am in need of impatiens and dog food, so maybe a drive north later or tomorrow for those things, stop and see Holly whose birthday just passed. I got her sterling silver bobby pins, how indulgent! She has worn 2 bobby pins in her hair for all the almost 25 years I have known her, seemed perfect. PS, don't tell! Its a surprise! Barb
