ITS TIME FOR JEWELERS BENCH'S annual showing of Shadowfax Jewelry!
Today we cleaned out the cases to make room for my newest work, and for holiday favorites. I plan to go in next monday and set up the additional cases we will take down this weekend. If you are on the island, stop in when you are in Freeland and take a look.
Besides the gorgeous jewelry(and not a piece made in China) there is also a great selection of Mike Dunigan's hand turned wood items. Magnifiers, a cane, golf accessories, boxes and cases made in key ring and pocket sizes, amazing kaleidoscopes... Mike is the mayor of Mullan Idaho, an honest upstanding man and a worthy soul whose work we are proud to bring to you. Its simply beautiful.
You will also find amazing Ammolite, Nubian Sun, Navajo Way and an assortment of Jeweler's Bench's house work. I heard that the Ammolite will be specially priced at 50% of its regular cost (wholesale!) as JB clears it out to make room for next years bigger concentration of custom shop-made originals. If you appreciate fossils and specimens, now is your chance to get ahold of a lovely piece of fossilized shell in radiant colors as precious and fiery as any opal.
This is my chance to say thank you to all those wonderful folks that braved the crowds last weekend and came to shop at the Best of the Northwest in Seattle. If you are in Portland, be sure and stop by the show at The Oregon Convention Center. Shadowfax will not be exhibiting, but there will be many other high quality displays to see. Thanks!
