Last tuesday the new Seattle Magazine came out featuring a special on the NWCA's Best of the North West shows, a really beautiful special featuring stories and show information and gorgeous ads from many of my favorite artists. The best of the area's artists and fine craftsman. And wacky silversmiths like me.
This is a copy of the ad we made for this issue, featuring my wonderful 'Very Sexy' earrings, sterling silver in my long traily seaweed and seashell motif. These are generally a set where one earring is longer than the other and they sell for 169.00. Smaller and shorter versions are available from 44.00, ranging from about 1.5 inches to about 3". These longs one shown is about 4" long.
Last weekends Whidbey Island Open Studio Tour was a lot of fun. We were so busy entertaining visitors on saturday that I wished I hadn't sent Lauren home, I really could have used help. Haole helped park 42 cars in a 3 hour period when it was most intense, thats a lot of people coming thru this little shop! Fun and chocolate was had by all, I had a blast. And I ate chocolate for days after, but I'm feeling much better now! That was TOO much chocolate for me! I'm going back to granola bars and bananas! Much safer!
If you'd like a special copy of the NWCA section from that Seattle Magazine, email me and I will send you one. Its 32 pages of inspired art and community spirit.
