Its been weeks again! I am so busy all the time with all the craziness of my days to keep up on blogging! Good things, awful things, sweet and scary, my life is full of it all! But the music is a constant happiness so the work days go by in joy.

I have many new things to show you, things you can come see in person at the Spring Best of the Northwest Show next weekend, April 15-17 in Seattle at Magnusen Park in Hangar 27. I'll attacj these images in the end here, so as you read they have time to drop in.

Whidbey Island is beginning to feel the influx of 'summer people' and mainlanders all flowing over in streams to enjoy the spring days. Its crowded in 'town'. Our weather went from strangely warm and dry to drenched and cold, but the garden is cleared, the garlic in and lettuce and chard going in today...all the seedlings are getting big and they will get transplanted into their bigger trays soon, and the last of the bulb flowers are dying out, soon to be replaced with the herbs and annuals.

Dog walks are going from woods that are suddenly too wet to slog thru to fields and beaches...and with all the woodsy hay fevers, its all for the best! Alder and cedar pollen, scotch broom and seafoam all getting full and so out comes the Euphrasia and nettle to help keep it breathable! Course the dog smells SO BAD and earthy he is a giant walking allergen! Hard to hug a dog so hard and sneeze so loud and not be able to quit hugging! He is so great! Maybe a bath weekend! That'd be fun...but its an experience that soaks me to the skin everytime (this is one HUGE dog) and its still cold out this afternoon!

OK ths eimages are here: Each of these will be available at the Spring Best at least on the first day...no promises after that! For more info on the show email me or info@bestnwcrafts.com or search the NWCA's Best of the Northwest Shows.

See you there!

Wingie Things!
And here is The Mermaid's Jewel, inspired by Rammstein's song Seeman, a lovely melody with a video that has an actress in it that is so much the lovely ancient midieval woman, the chain head piece, the perfect timeless face and cool demeaner...she seemed a woman of the seaside, an old world image that could have lured seamen to the rocky shores for love of her...and perhaps if she was truly a siren, she'd have worn a jewel like this!
