Days flash by and our mild warm spring reverted to yesterday's wild wind, power outages and rain...but WAY too short lived to do us any good with our impending water shortages. We are on a well system shared with 2 other families, and usually by september its pretty salty and smelly, so this year we can expect that much earlier, I imagine. Salty water by june? Its a possibility. We haul our own drinking water anyway, so it doesn't truly matter...and being at the low end of the hill, our yard stays pretty green as the next neighbor uphill has a beautiful estate to care for and water so we get the natural runoff.

Life here has gotten far less stressful with the close of a long and horrible suit I was involved in, one to protect our hair wrap patent. We finally won a settlement, a tiny one, but a win all the same, and an end of the stress and harrassment we experienced in mass quantities. But its over now and we can resume life as we know it, already hard enough somedays!

Next up for me is the NWCA's Spring Best of the Northwest, April 15-17 at Magnusen Park in Hangar 27 as usual. I am really looking forward to seeing all my friends and fans, and tho general stock is low after the Flower Show, I should have some jaw-dropping new pieces to show you!

I have no other shows planned until mid June when its time for Edmonds Arts Festival, our favorite area out door show. Always wonderful art, the prettiest sunsets and close to home, all make this show a special one for us. I doubt if I will do anything east of the Cascades this year, so if you are an 'eastside' fan, email me and I will send you images of new things you can see before they get put out for other buyers. I have only planned 9 shows all year, so you will not see me much, but when you do, it will be VERY GOOD! I promise!

OK, heres an image to leave you with! A potato I dug up last weekend in my garden!
