I seem to be getting flakey about blogging!
Seems like there is so little time and always something to do that fills it, from waking to sleeping. And so few share-able items of interest. Just work, mom, work and sleep for both of us, a little gardening and planting and pruning thrown in, mowing the lawn that grows a foot a day. Well, it seems like it anyway. The edges need weedwhacking too, my job...and very neglected. Maybe later this week.

I have been making the stock for Edmonds Arts Festival, our favorite outdoor summer show. Its always such a fun and busy event, and close enough to the island to come home every nite, in spite of the late hours friday and saturday. Open 10 til 9! Haole will likely be home those days working, but Lowie will be there with me and we will be having all the fun alone together. Sunday is the traditional load out and dinner out ritual, so we will all be there to enjoy that. Outback here we come! Ribs on THIS Barb=ie, thats for certain!

I have more of the new designs coming together for Edmonds. Its an important show, so I try to have lots of brand new things, as my regular 'ladies' come to see whats new. Sice I cut my shows down so much this year, its only these large and extra special shows you can see my new work at. Here is an image of a new one. I call it Surf Tumbled. It features surf tumbled shells my friend Suze sent me from Florida. It is shown smaller that actual size, its a pretty large pendant.

There are 2 other sort of similar ones, but this is my favorite so far. There is also a large bracelet I set with a surf tumbled piece of coral branches, very interesting and different, very natural looking. A delicious tangle of clams and seaweed and BEACH.

For those of you wondering why my show list is still showing last year's dates starting in august, all I can say is...sorry. There just doesn't seem to be time for Haole to update it, and I don't know how. maybe he can show me next time and I can do it...and maybe then he can fix the problems I cause by fooling around in the website!

Thats all for now, I must go to the bench and make spirals and clamshells! So much hammering and grinding today I may not actually get the torches turned on at all!
