After a blustery night the wind has dropped off to a brisk breeze, so I guess there won't be any outages today. I look forward to them like a child looks forward to snowdays and the like. We didn't have THOSE where I grew up, but those parent-dreaded teacher conferences were pretty special!
I finished a couple more of those pretty blister pearl pieces, thought I'd post them for prospective buyers to preview. I plan to ship them to galleries next week.

Well, thanks again to Suze for the pearls and blister pearls, all the care in choosing and the calls from Tuscon during the flower show. They brightened the day with their excitment and your happy voice!
Your finds have revolutionized my style and attitude!

Alls well out here on the rock. Weather pretty good, even warm. Veggie and flower starts are tall and happy. Lots of gardening and cleaning up going on. Haole building a batch of cabinets for Kiewit for immediate delivery. Tim coming in from Anchorage for a visit in a week .
Both cars are acting up, but I have learned to carry a jug of water around til the water pump gets replaced wednesday. Sigh. Haole's van gets fixed today.
I had to make a silver clamshell for a customer's order and I liked it so much that I made a batch and tried out some on pins and earrings. Its going to be a whole new style for me. I am shipping the first batch off to Afishionado in the morning, stop in to see them before they are gone! Fisherman's Terminal, in Ballard.
I am really excited about them! Want to see?
