No snow made it to Whidbey, so we missed out again! Its been very cold tho, and ice on the bird baths in the mornings make it feel more like winter than fall. Nice, tho! Crystal clear days and nights with the moon turning the sea to silver, and bright enough to keep the lamps and candles off around the hot tub, very bright out here these nights!
This weekend we head off to the the beautiful TRAC Pavillion in Pasco for CUSTER'S CHRISTMAS ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR!
We are there friday thru sunday at 5, so make sure to come down and see all our wonderful new creations! There are new hair wrap colors and collections as well as lots of beautiful new original jewelry. Lots of earrings, lots of pins and other gifts for under 20.00. And all our stand-by favorites also! New Ocean Jasper, Flourite, pearls, agates and jaspers, new 14kt gold rings, very special! Come look! There is a new Cobaltocalcite dragonfly pin sure to dazzle! I have one person in mind for that one...shes one of 'my ladies' that loves sparkle like no one else I have ever met! She glitters and sparkles from head to, well, wrist!
Mention you saw this blog and you will automatically recieve 15% off any Shadowfax purchase you make, including both wraps and the designer jewelry.
Also, its a great time to get your free copy of the 2003 Artist Directory produced and published by the Northwest Crafts Alliance. Its a 'wish' book worth having!
At home we will leave Mom and Boots and Tiko and the house sitter to keep things warm and cozy. We make it home sunday night generally...unless the pass is icy! Just have to wait and see how the travels go. Lowie the 'helper deluxe' is coming along to help out, and we always have fun together. Will try to blog an image or 2 for those of you that follow our travels and adventures.
Want to see a gorgeous thing?
Its a London Blue Topaz that was a custom order for someone who really loves my designs. Its bigger than a lot of my work, but so pretty I wish I could have KEPT it!
Take a look:
Heres another view of it. Its in sterling and 14kt gold.
OK Thats all for today! I have to load up, do laundry, pack and cook and get the animals ready for their weekend home, and times a'wastin!
