With Boise Art Museum's annual Art in the Park coming up next week, I have been really busy building the most special new pieces since the summer rush began!

I got a fabulous batch of Ocean Jasper from Dave Macdonald the stone cutter and mixed it with some jade I had put away from a decade ago...here are a couple of really beautiful things:

Its called 'Harvest Goddess' and is a pin/pendant combo piece.

This is 'The Seed' and it is a pendant.

There are matching rings, one with jade, one with the same ocean jasper!

AND YET YOU ROCK!
Stevie Ray Vaughn.
The best hard rockin guitarist of his time, a legend...
Today is the anniversary of his death 13 years ago.
He died after a show in Wisconsin in a helicopter crash in heavy fog.

I feel a special bond as Stevie and I had the same birthday, exactly.
Now everybody- go put on some Stevie Ray Vaugn, request him on your favorite stations and prove it once again that THAT is one damn great guitarist!
