Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, `and what is the use of a book,' thought Alice `without pictures or conversation?'
So she was considering in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid), whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her.
There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself, `Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late!' (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.

Weblog!
What a concept!
I have been looking for a way to share so many things about art shows, artists and crafters, and all my fun experiences living this crazy life!
I needed a way to give my fans and friends access to my newest work, my wacky ideas, special deals and new gems and styles...but didn't feel good about making ads and spamming people who are on my email list, as if I was just another merchandiser! Webguy extraordinaire, Gordy Coal of ElectricEdge Web Solutions introduced me to the idea and I am there!
I get so attached to my patrons, and I miss you when the season slows and the winter winds blow on Whidbey Island! But you know, that’s when the best work of my year takes place! That’s the only time of the year where I have the leisure to innovate the products going in new directions, and the ones I debut at The Flower and Garden Show each February, where the new year’s design ideas are introduced. If you missed it, I gotta say it was my absolute favorite garden shows in recent memory!
Everyone likely remembers the incredible garden called Alpine Highway from a few years ago, but this years gardens were so rich and lush! Amazing koi pond, a wonderful outdoor fireplace (now on my Honey-do list), great plants and such design talent! If you have never seen this show, you owe it to yourself! Go to www.gardenshow.com and plan to attend next year!
And I must be getting tougher in my old age, as I still felt great on that last grueling day, and had a breeze loading out (love the dock staff, they are tough but they keep it under control) before dashing to 13 Coins for Long Island Teas and Steak Sinatra. Yum!
I had 2 great helpers, both new to the Flower and Garden Show and it was so neat to share this absolutely gorgeous event with them! We had so much fun it should be illegal! It is by far and away my favorite event of the show year.
